can't wait to return... with my disabled brother in law... because wheel chair access is great! fran brown - from facebook first time we have visited & wish we had bought the annual ticket. took my mother-in-law for a day out to celebrate her birthday, booked her a scooter so she was able to whizz round the grounds herself without getting too tired and we all had a fabulous, relaxed day - the warm, sunny weather was most welcome too! the bluebells are stunning at the moment, but the whole place is lovely, and well worth visiting at different times of the year. must also mention the staff here, they are a really friendly bunch of people that made us feel very welcome. lynn langham - from facebook as usual it was such a wonderful visit and we have enjoyed each of our visits so far this year. stunning to see the changes happening as seasons mound into one. there is always something different to see and we try manage to do two rounds of the park each time. although we didn't visit the wildlife this time we have taken our granddaughter only 2 weeks ago and she loved seeing the owls and meerkats in particular.it certainly worth buying a season ticket for us anyway, must be our 7th visit so far this year. nice to enjoy a well deserved cup of tea in the cafe too. sue sutcliffe - from facebook we were so lucky to visit thorp perrow on a glorious day in may. we arrived just after it opened and didn't leave until just before closing time. it was a mid week day and because the grounds are so extensive it felt very peaceful. the planting is stunning and we enjoyed a tasty and very reasonably priced lunch while we were there. we watched both flying displays which we found interesting and informative. a great day out for all the family. terry - from ski invest ski invest loved our visit here on summer. coming back in half term for another visit. really good old fashioned food in the café and the most beautiful walk through the gardens and trees. dog and family friendly. highly recommended. edited to add - just visited for autumn - amazing foliage on the trees, the acres in particular were stunning. never seen anything like it.also a fantastic fun halloween trail for kids. anne newman - from google came across this hidden treasure of north yorkshire 6 weeks ago and enjoyed it so much i'm still talking about it, encouraging family and friends to visit. there aren't many places left where the beauty of nature envelops you from the minute you enter.loved the bird shows and was impressed that the 3 shows were individual and not just repeated. a walk through the wallaby enclosure was delightful especially when a wallaby came right up to us and a tiny joey popped it's head out of the pouch.my utmost favourite was sitting beside the lake on the evening, as the sun was lowering behind the trees, showing the true beauty and tranqility of the park...sheer magic will definitely return. carole verser - from google prev next newsletter signup submit upcoming events
